Madi | Beauty Session | HM Photography & Boutique, Women’s Portrait Photographer
We love a creative beauty session at HM Photography & Boutique – and this one with Madi was no exception!
I met Madi this past year at the Spotted Zebra where she modeled some clothes for me and since then, I have been dying to have her come back into my studio. She has such classic, beautiful features and clearly, the camera loves her!
I opted to photograph her in contrasting backgrounds to really showcase how lighting and color can change the mood and overall feel of a shoot. The light grey and blush backgrounds read classic portraiture, with soft lighting that really compliments Madi’s delicate, fair features.
The black background, however, is dramatic, moody and allows any color (like that vibrant red dress!) to really shine! The black background almost becomes invisible and brings out the highlights of the face and body, which create such a stunning outcome.
Which is your favorite? The soft, classic background or the dramatic black? Either way, we can agree that Madi is gorgeous and such a pleasure to work with!
